We had a bit of discussion about the colour of this ripstop. The supplier just lists it as orange, which isn't much help. We decided that it's a light, bright orange that had a scare from a mustard pot - if that makes sense. To add to this, it only has a touch of mustard in artificial light - in sunlight (yes, we have had some!) it is just a light bright orange.
I think that's the most I've ever written about a colour!
The fabric is 60 inches (150cm) wide, the ripstop threads are an unusual hexagon shape instead of the more regular grid, and it's uncoated, so it will be more use for jacket linings than jackets. It has a lovely silky feel to it, so you could make the loudest shirt ever with it - I don't think that "wearing a loud shirt in a built up area" is against the law (yet).
