We have a new colour in the military parachute fabrics - NATO Khaki brown. It's very lightweight, silky soft and slightly see-through. It's 130cm wide.

It has a light silicone coating which makes it slippery, but it's not water resist at all. Don't hot wash the fabric unless you want the silicone to come off.

It isn't rated for parachutes as this is slight seconds, but it will be perfect for stuff bags, underwear and other lightweight clothing. Weight is around the 35-38g/sqm mark.

As you may have noticed we do tend to get some unusual fabrics, and this one fits that description. It was made in the UK for a Non United Kingdom member of NATO. This is a lovely fabric that is smooth as silk, only this wasn't extruded by a silkworm it was extruded by a machine.
