It's an olive/nato green nylon ripstop, which was made for MOD parachutes, but isn't quite up to their exacting standards, so there may be very slight flaws in the weave. For goodness' sake don't use it for real parachutes!

Current stock is around 1 metre or more wide, which gives an approximate weight of 38g per square metre.

It's not waterproof, but has a silicone coating, which makes it very slippery.

We have also found out that this is good for lining feather sleeping bags as it's downproof. But please try it yourself as we haven't tried it.
